The is the main part of the library’s book collection. It contains books on many topics, including nursing.

The Archives Collection includes non-current materials from the founding of the school in 1958 up to the present time.

A small collection (approximately 800 titles) at the Extension Center at the Trocaire Achievement Complex on Transit Road in Williamsville.

A small collection of picture books and chapter books for children ages birth through eleven.

A collection without a strict academic focus meant for our patrons’ own enjoyment – includes many current award-winning books.

A space for study, (relative!) quiet, and reading. The Reading Room and the adjacent area also house several distinct collections.

Mission
The mission of Trocaire College Libraries is to directly support the efforts of its learning community toward preparing for work in a variety of professions and the liberal arts, attaining personal enrichment, dignity and self-worth in the spirit of the Sisters of Mercy by:
Acting as a hub of learning and inquiry for Students, Staff and Faculty
Providing the instruction and support required to create independent, information literate lifelong learners
Collecting, preserving and making available the scholarly information required to meet the educational requirements of Trocaire College programs

Vision
Trocaire College Library services will be the first choice of Trocaire College students, faculty, staff and Sisters of Mercy to meet their information and research needs.
